Raffaello Di Biagio has been graduated from the International Violinmaking School of Cremona where he had studied under the guidance of Master Stefano Conia, working, later, in his workshop for four years. He made an inlayed viola (Hellier Stradivari model) which is now exposed at the Cremona Violin Museum.
He took part in the International Competition in Baveno and in "Tchaikovskji" (Moscow) both in 1997 and in 1998, having great success.
Since 1997 he is member of A.L.I. (Italian Violinmakers Association) and since 1999 of the Consortium violinmakers "Antonio Stradivari" Cremona. In September 1999 he was invited to show up his works at the exhibition "Perugia Classico" and, in October 1999, he took part in "Cremona Mondomusica". In November 1999 he has been invited by Master Marcello Abbado to show up his instruments at the International Competition of Violinists "Michelangelo Abbado" at the Bocconi University, Milan. With some of his instruments he also took part in the "Exhibition 1999" in the United States in cities such as Los Angeles, Portland, Atlanta and Cincinnati.
Actually, he is working in his Cremonese workshop.
